Nick is a skilled builder and carpenter with a passion for quality craftsmanship. He began his career with a school-based apprenticeship in carpentry and continued his education to become an accredited builder. Nick’s attention to detail and commitment to excellence shine through in every project, whether building a new home or renovating an existing space. He works closely with clients to bring their vision to life and consistently exceeds expectations.
Cathie is an accomplished office manager with a strong background in procurement and accounting. With years of experience in administrative tasks, including financial management, personnel coordination, and procurement, Cathie excels at managing complex projects. Her attention to detail and problem-solving skills enable her to deliver high-quality work and ensure smooth operations.
Mike is a highly skilled and knowledgeable site supervisor and senior carpenter at Makin Construction with over 25 years of experience in the Construction Industry. Known for his meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organisational abilities, Mike excels in coordinating and executing complex projects to the highest standards. With Excellent interpersonal skills and a can-do attitude, he fosters positive relationships with colleagues, contractors, and clients, making him an invaluable asset to our team.
Wayne is the Director & Principal Architect of Habitat Studio Architects, a multi-disciplinary practice founded in 2010. The studio focuses on maintaining a high level of design, considering the environment and climate of project sites. Habitat’ values the close collaboration between clients, architects, and builders, often working with Makin Construction on successful projects.
Haydn is the director of Price A Plan. For over a decade Price A Plan has been Makin Constructions’ go-to estimating service, providing detailed quantity surveying and accurate pricing for all projects.
